The Aged Care Ministry in the Episcopal Church is dedicated to honouring and supporting our senior members, recognizing their wisdom and contributions to the community. Through compassionate outreach and spiritual care, we provide companionship, resources, and assistance to ensure their physical and emotional well-being. This ministry fosters a sense of belonging, affirming the inherent dignity of every individual as beloved children of God regardless of age.
This ministry is expressed through monthly worship services featuring Holy Communion at various aged care facilities across Sydney, including North Rocks, Rose Bay, Surry Hills, Winston Hills, Randwick, and Baulkham Hills, with an average of 14 services each month. In addition to these services, we offer pastoral care and support to residents, families, and staff, addressing their spiritual needs. Our team is regularly called upon to provide comfort to those who are very ill or nearing the end of life, offering final prayers, anointing, and assistance with funeral preparations.
